ATC joins DTI-led Europe mission

ALLIANCE Technologies Corp. (ATC) president and chief executive officer Francis Patron did not have second thoughts when asked to join the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in its e-services mission to outsource the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

The availability of a large and steady pool of exceptionally qualified workers, the strong support of government, and strong support of government, and world-class telecom and data infrastructure have made the Philippines Southeast Asia's emerging leader in outsourcing services for the world's most recognizable multinational companies in a span of only three years.

Patron's goal, like the other Philippine delegates who joined the mission, was to tap more multinational corporations wanting to outsource contact center services and to convince them that the Philppines is the best location for them.

The mission, from June 25 - July 3, 2005, was led by top government officers from the DTI and the Board of Investments. Business delegates from the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) and top executives from the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) also joined the mission.

Among the contact centers which participated were Advanced Contact Solutions, Inc. (ACS), Vision X, People Support and Client Logic.

The mission to outsource Europe was made possible by the organizing team of DTI and the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) with the support of BPAP/P.
